Every year, 9.5 million tonnes of food waste is produced in the UK, equating to around 25 million tonnes of CO2(e) being emitted annually. CCm is able to use this food waste, that has undergone anaerobic digestion as the feedstock for the fertiliser process. This demonstrates CCm's process is able to fit into all sectors of the food industry and improve the circular economy of these industries.
